Hey, thanks for translating. I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but the spanish newsletter is appearing in the main Planet Ubuntu feed. There doesn’t seem to be a dedicated planet ubuntu-es (and perhaps this should change), although there are a few mostly spanish feeds (http://planeta.ubuntu.ec/ and http://ubuntu-co.com/aggregator/) where the newsletter isn’t getting posted.
Anyway, whatever you decide to do, thanks

Hello Scott. Me posting the UWN in Spanish in the main Planet Ubuntu Feed is intentional, why?? It is simple. Ubuntu-es does not stands for Ubuntu in Spanish, it stands for Ubuntu ESpaña (Spain). Since the Spanish Translation of the UWN is not intended just for people from Spain, we cant dedicate a feed just for ubuntu-es. On the other hand, having it in the main Planet feed, is the best way to reach more Spanish speakers, since you might have noticed, the Spanish language community is diversified around the world, and does not have a main point of entry, or in other words, there is no web site that puts together all the Spanish speakers. So we would need to have dedicated planet for each Spanish speakers LoCo’s, which means many many countries. And what would happen of those countries which are not LoCo Teams, they might not have the means to set their own webpage or planet, but they have the ability to read the posts from the Main Ubuntu Planet. Or what would happen to does Speakers that do not live in their home countries and do not participate in any LoCo team, but they do read the Ubuntu Planet…. Anyways, I do believe having the post about the UWN in Spanish in the Main Ubuntu Feed, is the best way to reach all the Spanish speakers. However, as you said, it would be a good thing to have all the LoCo to add the feed to their planets. The only LoCo’s that I’m aware that have done this, is ubuntu-ve, and ubuntu-pe. But, yes It would be better if all LoCos could add the feed to their planet, but each LoCo would have to decide that. Meanwhile, it will remain in the main Ubuntu feed. Thank you very much for your suggestion
. It is really appreciated.
